An early vintage Hadrill Horstmann 'Pluslite' magnifying lamp in chrome.
An unmistakable industrial design classic featuring the iconic counterbalance mechanism and articulated magnifying lens. The large counterweight is suspended in a cast bracket cast with the 'HH' monogram & the magnifying glass folds away above the shade when not in use. An early, unusual & particularly impressive example.
Rewired in twisted black flex.

Wear commensurate with age as pictured, very good overall, the last joint between the magnifyer & the shade no longer tightens & releases as it once did but this does not affect it for display (seen last image, may be remedied using the right technique). Height measurement is taken at full stretch.
