A huge bakers prooving table / dough bin.
A superb example of great scale, the original twin-wheeled cast iron castors & chunky hardwood base supporting a generous bin & three plank top. With a fantastic amount of wear & a great sleepy colour to the timbers, the bin is made from five single planks & the ends reinforced with decorative iron strap-work.
The lid lifts away to reveal a generous storage area within which was traditionally used to allow the bakers dough to 'rest' after having been kneaded on the top and before baking.
Quite simply the nicest example I've seen to date in the most wonderful condition.

Wear commensurate with age, solid & displays beautifully, never waxed, polished or messed around with, wants for nothing & completely ready to use. The top has lost a sliver to one side as per last pic but doesn't effect its use of aesthetics.
