General Waiting Room

A large Great Western Railway 'General Waiting Room' sign.
A wonderful antique sign, in thick timber & in its original iron frame with cast iron lettering & all original paint. With the perfect amount of wear & some beautiful iron work brackets remaining, a super decorative piece & so exceptionally original. A super variant of these old Great Western Railway signs & an extremely good thing!
One of three, the group including, 'Station Master' & 'Way Out'. Of all the railway signs I've had over the years, this group of three are the most exceptionally original & aesthetically pleasing I've had.
Early 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, good condition overall, completely untouched original condition, never even cleaned, jusrt as found. Brckets could be removed for a flush wall mount.
