A 19th century water gilded ottoman.
A superb & highly unusual example of the absolute highest quality. Raised on ebony & brass castors, the hardwood frame in its original water gilding with a lower cross stretcher & decorative central finial, topped with period upholstery in a rich red damask.
A wonderful & exceptionally original thing.

Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, some light wear to the corners os the upholstery which can easily be forgiven given its age.
