A wonderful early English printers typesetting table.
A beautiful & delightfully original piece of furniture of good scale, raised on a solid pine base with large iron fastenings square with the two deep, double sided drawers retaining their original cast iron cup handes below the original heavy steel top. With perfect colour & over a century of the most beautiful wear, to both the base & top, reclaimed from a printers in Bristol where it was still in use until this year. A well proportioned, versatile & tactile piece of furniture which would make the perfect kitchen island.

Wear commensurate with age, unrestored yet clean, solid condition showing numerous pleasing signs of age which make it what it is today. Solid & ready to use, inner drawers could be lined if it is to be used in a kitchen & have had new runners at some point. Overall this wants for nothing.
Please be aware, the top of this piece (removable) is extremely heavy, probably in the region of 100kg plus & will require three people to move it.
Collection welcome, UK courier service possible, please enquire for details.
