Parnall Shop Display Cabinet

An antique shop wall cabinet by Parnall & Sons.
A phenomenal & early example in solid mahogany with three sliding doors with their original flush brass handles and untouched ebonized interior with adjustable pine shelves. Original glazing all around & finished with a nice maker's plaque to the centre of the pediment.
One of the finest display cabinet's I've been able to buy, totally untouched with exceptional quality & colour.
Parnall & Sons were established in 1820 by William Parnall & by the 1880's were the largest shop fitting company in England.

Wear commensurate with age, showing numerous signs of its past in the retail industry, excellent overall & displays well. Small area to rear of back boards with an old repair, old woodworm in backbords treated as a precaution, one piece of historically replaced trim to the lower left hand side, neither noticable.
This is a heavy cabinet & will need further fixings if it is to be wall mounted (it was sat atop a counter in the shop from which it was removed & does have two secure brasss brackets to the upper rear but will need a couple more to support the full weight).
