A matched pair of painted metal bedside cabinets.
A beautiful & unusual pair of cabinets, both with a drawer over a single cupboard & in the original 'faux wood', scumbled paintwork with gold coachlined detail. Delightfully original with wonderful original paint & so unusual to come across a pair that have been together all these years
French, c1920
Price is for the pair
Wear commensurate with age, good clean condition overall with expected, pleasing wear & tear to the paintwork. The cabinets are a very near pair, the carcasses are near identical with the paintwork differing ever so slightly on close inspection though the tops do differ slightly (one is cast metal, the other pressed, both in original paint). You need them next to each other to spot the differences though these would go unnoticed either side of a bed.
Cabinet A - 79cm x37.5cm x 32.5cm, cabinet B - 80.5cm x 37cm x 32cm.
UK courier service available, please enquire for details.
