Large Glazed Shop Counter c1900

A wonderful antique glazed shop counter.
A beautiful & unusual English shop counter of good proportions, with three glazed drop-doors to the base above a thick pine top. The base comes in the origianl faux-mahogany & ebonised painted finish with a superb depth of colour & patina with the two right hand doors opening into one larger compartment & the left to a smaller one.
A handsome piece of industrial furniture for home or retail, perfect for wine storage!.

Wear commensurate with age, solid & displays beautifully. Showing the usual signs of it's past, few old filled areas to the top, light areas of historic woodworm treated as a precaution, a differiong catch to the centre door & the tip missing from the ebnd one, all functional.
