A late 19th century Anglo-Indian Hoshiarpur gaming table.
A good honest example of traditional inlaid Indian furniture in the larger, harder-to-find size, in solid hardwood with some nice detail. Profusely inlaid with carved bone & ebony, with good colour throughout with a seldom seen gaming board inlay to the top.
Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully with a few knocks, old repairs & losses to the inlay with some of the black & white edging to the top historically replaced as pictured.
