An italain Vitrolite coffee table.
A classy, typically Italian & understated example, the gilt brass frame raised on castors with reeded legs and a lower stretcher supporting a thick clear class shelf. The jet black Vitrolite glass top is finished with a neat brass edging which contrasts beautifully with the glossy black glass.
A handsome, high quality & unusual piece of Italian design.
Late 1950's / early 60's
Wear commensurate with age, good overall showing only very minor signs of age. The lower shelf has one tiny nibble to the edge as pictured.
