A rare antique shop display cabinet for John Hill & Son Tudno Cake Factory of Ashton Under Lyne.
An early ebonised glazed shop display cabinet with etched advertising to both end panels, a large rear door & two glass shelves supported by brass brackets. A seldom seen example & a great display cabinet.
Early 20th Century
Wear commensurate with age, showing numerous signs of its past in the retail industry, no damage to the glass though there is some scratching in places & the glass lining (inside base & ceiling) has been replaced at some point.
