A Regency period Pembroke table.
Raised on beautifully turned legs with carved capitals supporting a top of exceptional colour with drop leaves to either side. With large brass ring handles to both the drawer & faux drawer to the back & retaining its original lock & key. A particularly elegant, unusual & honest example which sits so well.

Wear commensurate with age, delightfully untouched, very solid & good overall. The handles on the drawer & faux drawer front to the rear are not exact matches but both are period and top has a few minor & well executed historic repairs to the area where the leaves meet the central top as these often do. Neither detract.
The above measurements refer to the table with the drop leaves doen, the width of the top with the leaves open is 94.5cm.
