A beautiful, elegant & highly unusual examplethe rosewood box with delcate dovetails, brass & copper inlay work & inset handles on its original gilt brass stand with a cross stretcher to the base & subtle faux bamboo detailing. A truly beautiful piece of craftsmanship which sits so well & something I've never come across before, makes a fantastic little console table or single bedside.

Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully. Interior of the box has been relined in green velvet at some point & although the key is present, the lock wioll need work / replacing if it is to be used (we have removed the lock keep, which will be included, from the inner lid as the lock was only working intermittently).
