A Anglo Indian elephant table.
A beautiful & highly unusual example, profusely caved, raised on four well carved elephant legs, the trunks supporting a profusely carved top. In solid hardwood (likely rosewood) throughout with the elephant's eyes & trunks in bone, a delightfully original example.
So very unusual to come across a table of this type with a square top, these higher quality tables are almost always round or oval.
Early 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, good overall, the odd tusk tip may be a liottle shorter than it was originally but overall the whole thing is in excellent order with good colour.
