A Victorian ebonized specimen cabinet.
Raised on turned feet with some attractive moulding to the door and chamfered edges to the cabinet, all the in the original ebonized & gilded finish with the outer cabinet with an excellent patina. The interior contains eleven graduated, dovetailed drawers which would have held an array of specimens & all retain their original brass handles.
A fabulous piece of furniture with a wonderful look & feel about it.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, lock & key now absent, period wire hasp top right fastens the door.
