An exceptional large antique ebonized & gilt torchere.
A wonderful piece displaying some beautiful workmanship, the square base supporting a spiral fluted central & large display platform, all in the most beautiful ebonized finish with gilt detailing. A handsome & very stylish example.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, the base has had some historic woodworm, this was dead on arrival but has left holes & has been treated as a precaution (see close up).
