A wonderful early English draughtsmans table.
A beautiful & delightfully original piece of industrial furniture of excellent form, the hardwood base with massively over-engineered cast iron mounts & setting wheels, finished with contrasting brass bolts. The original, adjustable pine top tilts and slides with the large wheels locking it firmly into the desired position while the large iron screws to the underside of the top allow the height to be adjusted precisely.
A well proportioned, versatile & useful piece of furniture & a model which rarely comes onto the market.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, fully functional, some setting wheels a little stiff but all working. One of the stretchers underneath has few sporadic woodworm holes (very minor & treated as a precaution) and one of the lower supports has a chip to one end & and old repair to the other (cant be seen as underneath).
