An French iron bistro table by Jean Verdet.
A particularly good example of super form, the crisply cast base with some wonderful detail & unusual typography. The sheet metal top is supported by three wrought iron upright & the whole piece has the perfect patina.
'J. Verdet, Construction Métallique' originally operated out of 10 Rue Chopard in Besançon, the workshop was a traditional, long-standing family business of master metalworkers spanning generations.

Wear commensurate with age, & in excellent condition, the top, which almost always suffer on these, is solid with no rot or damage.
