A 19th century riveted iron solicitors deed rack.
A wonderful wrought iron deed rack by Edward Tann of Chancery Lane, the blacksmith-made rack raised on flat penny feet with rivited joints & retaining all four of its original tole deed boxes. A wonderfully original example which makes a very versatile & decorative piece of home or office storage.
Wear commensurate with age, completely untouched original condition showing numerous pleasing signs of age. The deed boxes come with a single key which does work in two of the locks but the two without working locks do still mercifully stay closed.
