An Italian table lamp by Alvino Bagni.
A real show-stopper of table lamp and a scarce larger model by Italian ceramic designer Alvino Bagni.
The labour intensive manufacturing of these hobnail style lamps involved the hand turning of the base then the application of each dot by hand before being fired in a matt glaze, making each lamp unique.
A superb interior decorators piece of great scale which would pair well with a variety of contemporary shades & looks even better lit.
Rewired in twisted black flex

Wear commensurate with age, good overall & displays beautifully. With some expected very light marking here & there, one or two absent dots & one small chip, none relevant & all can be placed out of sight.
