A wonderful & very unusual fairground sign for 'The Big Wheel'.
A cracking fairground sign boasting some fantastic traditional sign writing skills with the double shadowed gilt lettering aged to absolute perfection. The sign would have sat above the entrance to the Big Wheel & retains it's original iron mounting brackets (the '6d' looks like it was probably updated at some point to reflect a price increase, almost certainly by the same artist!).
An excellent example for the most iconic of rides!
