A heavily carved Syrian Quran stand.
A super example of Islamic Ottoman furniture, profusely carved with some wonderful fretwork to the lower section, excellent colour, finshed with a camel bone inlay & delightfully untouched.
These larger stands make a super alternative to purpose made magazine racks.

Folded flat, each side measures approx 79cm x 31cm (measurements above are taken as pictured).
Wear commensurate with age with the odd loss to the inlay, very good overall & displays beautifully.
