A large antique country house tole flour bin.
An attractive and unusual example in the original scumbled faux-oak paintwork with hinged lid & a hasp which could be secured using a padlock. The, 'Flour, 7 Stone' sign-written to the front panel and original lifting handles to the sides set this one apart from others I've had over the years.
The bin would have been used in a country house to store flour in bulk before it was moved into smaller canisters for use in the kitchen.
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, untouched with expected wear to the paintwork. Extremely good condition inside for one of these!
