Large Brass Ferranti Industrial Clock

A large Ferranti factory wall clock.
A beautiful example of good scale with a crisp clear face & in a spun brass case with twin fixing points.
A wonderful piece of Great British industrial design, by repute formerly of Alexandra Palace.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, original electric movement replaced with a working battery movement. The movement is high torque but & the hands are prone to 'slipping' when the clock is being moved (always the case with larger hands such as these). It keeps good time once in situ, it merely needs fixing in place prior to setting the hands.
