G.E.C Industrial Fan

A beautiful early vintage industrial electric fan by GEC.
In original factory black paint with faded gilt detailing, this electric industrial fan by the General Electric Company is an absolute classic. Employing a metal guard & blades retaining traces of the original 'coppered' finish, a cast iron base & three speed motor, the build quality is as good as it gets & the fan displays beautifully.

Wear commensurate with age, good overall, unrestored.
The fan is offered just as it came in & retains it's original wiring in places & is untested for electrical safety (exit wire a recent replacement in, wiring in the upper section original). It works as it should with all speeds & the swivel function operational but as always we recommend an electrical safety check by a qualified electrician prior to use.
I would also stronly advise the fan is kept away from children given the speed of the blades & open nature of the the guard!
