A beautiful hand painted commemorative 'Football 11' board.
A fantastic piece of early 20th century folk art, handpainted on pine, the gilt & colours remaining strong with a pleasing craquelure finish. Containing some notable names such as Freddie Calthorpe & Humphery Critchley-Salmonson who later became English First Class Cricketers & others who sadly lost their lives in The War.
