An early wall mounted French brass coat rack.
A fantastic & unusual example, firmly among the best I've had, the beautifully cast end brackets supporting eight sliding coat hooks below a four-bar upper 'shelf' designed for hats.
An elegant & stylish example of great form with a great untouched patina.

Wear commensurate with age, unrestored & good solid condition, one or two light cracks to the brass wrap to the upper shelf (see last pic, these are filled with steel so totally solid & functional).
