A repurposed shop's advertising sign, historically made into a drawer / box.
A beautiful & totally unique piece of history, the old London confectioners sign cut into four pieces & fashined into a box finished with a brass cup handle to the front. The signwriting is exceptional, as is the double shadowed gilt lettering which covers all four sides of the box.
Makes a great in / out tray or desk tidy!
19th century
Wear commensurate with age, good solid condition, paint all original, curts to the timber a little rougher on one side, displays beautifully.
