An amazing example of an early vintage enamel 'Telephone' sign, double sided & on its original wrought iron bracket.
Purchased from a private collector who aquired this sign directly from the G.P.O (General Post Office) some years ago, it was never issued for use & came in its original packaging at the time. It is hence in unbelievably good condition, the enamel sign itself is extremely glossy with a brilliant depth of colour & the scrolling wrought iron bracket retains its original galvanised finish. A rare opportunity to aquire one of these iconic signs in this condition!
1930's.
Exceptional condition, never issued for use & used only for a short time for display purposes in a domestic setting so showing only the most minor signs of age.
UK courier service available at £18 tracked & signed for 24 hour delivery.
