An unusual taxidermy Waterbuck mount by Rowland Ward.
A beautiful & well proportioned set of Kudu horns by arguably the most noted & talented taxidermy outfit of all time. In typical Ward style the mount is extremely high quality with the kudu horns mounted on a solid oak shield & finished with a maker's plaque & log number to the rear.
Mid 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, very good overall, some sporadic old woodworm holes to the rear of the shield treated as a precaution.
