A plaster mannequin head.
A super piece with great character, extremely well modelled with glass eyes, very unusual glass teeth & the most wonderful, lifelike expression.
A charming & unusual example.
Second quarter, 20th century
Wear commensurate with age, displays beautifully though does show signs of his past in the retail industry. He has a knock & associated (stable) crack to the back of his head, chips to both ears & a couple around the base.
These early plaster mannequin heads are notoriously fragile, hence his imperfections... but handle him with care & he'll provide years of service!
