A Victorian lyre stand.
On a heavy & nicely cast iron base, the telescopic upright supports a decorative lyre stand top, all in a cracking coat of old gold paint.
Intended for sheet music / books, reclaimed from an artists studio in the West Country where it had been used as an easle.
English, late 19th Century
Wear commensurate with age, fair overall but has had a life, totally untouched & just as pictured,.
Height ranges from 105cm to 170cm & the load area is around 40cm across.
