Large Glass Distortion Lenses

Two large antique brass distortion lenses.
Two fantastic examples of good scale & weight, the patinated brass rims each supporting two thick, powerful bullseye magnifying lens. Originally scientific, the position of the lenses creates a distorted effect making them wonderful decorative pieces. 
Late 19th / early 20th century.

Wear commensurate with age, both display beautifully with one having a small chip to one lens & the other with a very small loss to the brass trim (see last two pics, neither detract). One is 22cm x 9cm, the other 22cm x 11cm approx.
