Faux Books

A collection of faux books.
A group of six unusual faux book runs, each made up of six leather bound book spines with embossed gilt titles, backed with boxes to the rear in the original marbled paper covering.
Super things which don't come up very often.
Early 20th century
Price is for the six.
Four larger boxes - 17cm x 21cm x 12cm, two smaller boxes - 15cm x 21cm x 11cm.
Wear commensurate with age, totally untouched, good solid condition overall though showing expected signs of age, one box does have a bit of loss to the spine as shown last image. These are simply wooden faux books, the boxes do not open for storage like later examples.
