A large pair of early fairground columns.
A superb pair of fairground ride columns in carved timber & their original paint, topped with the most wonderful capitals & each finished with a hand painted insignia to the front. Displaying some great variations in the paintwork with the bases & uprights in a faux marble, the insignia & capitals in an airbrushed & gilded finish.
With most old fairground memorabilia coming from much later rides & the earlier ones having been repainted over the years, these are an absolute gem & not something you'll be likely to see again!
Early 20th century
