Collection of 19th Century Witches Balls

Collection of 19th Century Witches Balls

Code: 13800

SOLD

A group of five early 'witches' balls.
A wonderful collection of hand blown, coloured mercury glass balls or 'kugels' featuring an amazing array of colours, all topped with their original & pressed metal galleries. Like most things in the antique world, there are 'levels' to these with a lot being made far later than others. These are all particularly good, early  examples, a super group.
Late 19th / early 20th century.
Price is for the collection.
Wear commensurate with age, excellent all round, some pleasing foxing as you'd hope for.
The balls range in size from around 7cm to 20cm in width (individual measurements available on request). They are not supplied with chain.
UK courier service available at £20 tracked & signed.
