A striking & highly unusual console table with beautiful black & white inlaid edging, the cross stretchered base with ebonised barley twist legs supporting a marquetry inlaid top above a single drawer.
A stunning decorative piece of furniture.
European, mid 19th century in Date
Wear commensurate with age as pictured, not at all bad for something approaching 200 years old, untouched with an age related split a couple of losses & some wear & tear to the marquetry inlay to the top & a few very minor losses elsewhere. The top has one replacement piece of white inlay to the edging. Pretty sturdy for a table of this nature & totally usable.
